BAFTA AWARDS

A few days back, very renowned awards in the field of Entertainment Industry took place. The awards are BAFTA Awards, short for British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Considering the upcoming LIC AAO 2016 Exam, it bears utmost importance. So here is a detailed highlight of these awards.

BAFTA holds a variety of Awards ceremonies throughout the year, each one celebrating and rewarding talent within the moving image industries.

This year saw the 69th British Academy Films Awards (BAFTAs) being announced on 14 February 2016, which was held at the Royal Opera House in London.

The awards were announced to honour the best British and international contributions to film in 2015.

Best Animated Film – Inside Out

Best British Short Animation – Edmond

Best British Short Film – Operator

Best Cinematography – The Revenant

Best Costume Design – Mad Max: Fury Road

Best Documentary – Amy

EE Rising Star (voted for by the public) – John Boyega

Best Editing – Mad Max: Fury Road

Film Not In the English Language – Wild Tales
