'On the edge of one's seat' means: very excited and giving one's full attention to something.('On the edge of one's seat' মানে খুবই উত্সাহিত হয়ে ম্যাচ দেখা)

'Nail biter' means: something (such as a game or movie) that causes people to feel nervous because the ending is not known until the final moment

'Take a bow' means: to acknowledge or receive applause or praise(স্বীকার বা সাধুবাদ বা প্রশংসা গ্রহণ করতে)
When a match becomes dull, you can say(একটি ম্যাচ নিস্তেজ হয়ে যায় , তখন আপনি বলতে পারেন):
1. "It was about as exciting as watching paint dry."
Something that is very, very boring can be described as about as exciting as watching paint dry.(কিছু যা খুব , খুব বিরক্তিকর)
2. "It was like watching grass grow."
This is used to describe something that is very uninteresting.(এইটি এমন কিছু বিষয় যে খুব নীরস বর্ণনা করতে ব্যবহার করা হয় .)
3. The match became predictable and my favorite team did not stand a chance to win.(ম্যাচ আন্দাজের হয়ে ওঠে এবং আমার প্রিয় দল জয় করার একটি সুযোগ পায় না .)
'Stand a chance' means: to have the possibility of being successful(সফল হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা আছে)
4. The match became very dull as we came closer to end.(যেমন আমরা শেষ কাছাকাছি এসে ম্যাচ খুব নিস্তেজ হয়ে ওঠে )
